The International Professional Certificate in Sex Therapy is a specialized professional training programme for helping professionals who work with sexual health, relationship concerns, and related therapeutic issues. The programme offers evidence-based, practical, and culturally sensitive training in sex therapy for use in clinical, counseling, pastoral, educational, and community settings.
This programme is accredited by the American Council of Training and Development (ACTD), USA. Participants who successfully complete the programme receive a certificate issued by ACTD.
This programme is delivered by the Institute of Sexuality, Marriage and Family Life Research and Training (iSMART).

Clinical and counselling psychologists, licensed counselors, psychotherapists, social workers, family-life practitioners, medical doctors, nurses, pastoral counselors, clergy, educators, school counselors, allied-health professionals, NGO staff, and community health workers.
Accreditation and Certification
This is an ACTD-accredited training programme. Accreditation confirms that the programme meets ACTD’s international quality standards in training design, delivery, and assessment. Certificates issued under the program remain valid and verifiable through ACTD’s certification registry.
The certificate represents completion of professional training and recognition of specialization.

Eligibility
Minimum qualification: tertiary certificate, diploma, bachelor’s degree, or equivalent.
An added advantage: qualifications in Psychology, Counselling, Social Work, Medicine, Nursing, Midwifery, Public Health, Theology, Education, or Allied Health.
